With a new year starting we have many clients asking us for what’s new and fresh to give them a style boost or a complete overhaul. With taking inspiration from catwalk trends we tailor them to each and every client to give them a workable current style. Here are just a few trends we shall be seeing over the coming year.
Short cuts
Taking inspiration from the shows of Dior, Balenciaga and Giorgio Armani, short haircuts are seen with a boyish finish with softness kept to a minimum. Exterior and hairlines are kept cropped or left longer to tuck snugly behind the ears and the interior of the haircut kept in keeping with the natural texture of the hair, worn spikey or flat. So if you fancy celebrating your androgynous side, go for the chop.

Midlengths
We all know that in between length while desperately wanting your hair to grow, will no more as mid lengths are an end goal in themselves. Chloe and Isabel Marant kept it contemporary with soft haphazard layering and shaggy fringes. Models like Edie Campbell and Alexa Chung do it best with a relaxed texture and finish.

Long hair
Free and easy textured waves seen worn natural was a theme through many of the shows seen over A/W S/S. Topshop unique swept it up to side ponys to enhance volume. However flat ironed hair at Mulberry and Rodarte saw long hair styled with small micro fringes and flat base colours. Perfect for girls feeling like a change but still attached to those long locks.
