REUBEN

After completing training in 1998 for Toni & Guy in London, Reuben went on to both work and teach for the company, before making the decision to start his own business and open his own salon at the age of twenty four. Reuben Wood Hair & Beauty opened in 2004 with an aim to providing Reuben a space in which he and his team could explore their creativity, as well as offering a constantly discerning service for their clients.

Alongside his Manchester business, Reuben has consistently worked as a session stylist in London, New York and Paris. Assisting top fashion hair stylists such as Eugene Souleiman and Martin Cullen. Reuben broadened his editorial experience and used these jobs as an opportunity to learn even more skills and techniques.

PETE

Peter started his career at Vidal Sassoon in Manchester. He then went on to work at Toni & Guy where he worked for 17 years. During that time Peter worked as Art Director for the company , educator at the academy in manchester and worked on photo shoots and advertising campaigns. Peter also speaks fluent French & Arabic.

CRAIG

Having worked in the industry for over 20 years previously for the prestigious Russell Carney Salon in Manchester.

Craig has gained a wealth of knowledge over the years. Craig has worked in television and film creating looks for actors and their characters.

With a vast knowledge in wigs and hair extensions this is where Craig really knows his craft. Taught at the prestigious Bumble & Bumble salon in New York , Craig leant techniques that makes him stand out from the competition

SAMANTHA

After a change in career to follow her passion for hairdressing.

Fast forward 10 Years in the industry and now well established in the city centre. Previous work for TONI&GUY as an Artistic Director has taken her in many directions.​

Drawing on her experience in teaching, competition work and as an in demand Salon Stylist, she dedicated to delivering the perfect creative service.

Competitions with L’Oreal, such as Colour Trophy and Hair Idol have seen her show off her creativity when not tending to her loyal clients in salon.​

Passionate in all areas of hair she aims to deliver the highest standard of service.

NANCY

Nancy has been hairdressing for 16 years and trained as a L’Oreal Colour Specialist in 2009.

Since then she has gone on to colour for television dramas, be a part of the Colour ID Artist team and a Balayage specialist.

Spending her days learning new ways to freehand paint and particularly enjoying experimenting with different products and tools helps her achieve the looks her clients want.

Nancy was on L’oreal Professional Innovation team allowing her to test brand new products and demo them to other specialists in the UK.

GILLIAN

Gillian moved to Toni & Guy at 18 years old and became a colour technician. Colour is Gillians passion , creating high shine and beautifully polished colours.

Then is 2008 she moved to Toni & Guy in Manchester where she grew as a hairdresser , being part of the Loreal Colour Trophy getting through to the regional finals. Also being part of hair idol where she worked in a team to create a complete collection. Off the back of Hair Idol Gillian was selected to be part of the breakthrough team where she had the opportunity to work along side the Toni & Guy art team and worked at London Fashion Week on the FAD fashion show.

Gillian has also completed her Loreal Colour Specialist Degree with a distinctionand is confident with all colouring tecniques from your Classic Highlights , Ombre , Balayage and Colour Changes.

OLIVIA

I joined the Reuben Wood team when I was 16 eager to learn everything I could about the industry, I’ve always had an interest in hair and fashion for as long as I can remember, 4 years on after completing all my training learning with the best team around me teaching me everything I know and learning from everyone’s individual styles I’ve been able to adapt and find my own style and interests.

My passion lies with colouring as I feel like you can really express your creative side, being able to create different shades and tones to suit any client. Working with both colour, cutting and different styling techniques really allows me to be able to create the perfect look for any client.
